About the Journal
Dissertia Research Reviews (ISSN 3053-6669) is an international, peer-reviewed, bi-monthly, open-access journal publishing thesis-based articles as well as extended abstracts of MA, PhD, and postdoctoral theses and dissertations across the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS). We aim to promote comparative, interdisciplinary, and cross-regional research that bridges emerging and established fields of inquiry. The journal’s mission is to make graduate scholarship visible, citable, and globally accessible; empowering early-career researchers to share work that is often original, data-driven, and grounded in local contexts. Each publication receives DOI registration and is indexed in Dissertia’s AI-powered database, envisioned as the world’s most inclusive repository of graduate research in the humanities and social sciences.
Current Issue
This inaugural issue of Dissertia Research Reviews constitutes a Special Issue dedicated to the field of Comparative Religion. It brings together exemplary graduate research that investigates religious traditions, concepts, and encounters through comparative,cross-cultural, and multi-disciplinary frameworks. As the first published issue of the journal, it formally inaugurates our commitment to disseminating diverse scholarship derived from MA, PhD, and Postdoctoral studies, and to promoting an intellectual space where emerging researchers can contribute to contemporary debates in the study of religion.
